Services and solutions founded on more than 25 years of experience
Department of Homeland Security / Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency
Since 2017 BST has provided cybersecurity leadership as a subcontractor, currently for CISA’s Specialized Security Systems (SSS) contract and previously for the Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) contract.
BST delivers security engineering services, provides operational and security testing, and serves as ISSO for high-profile, mission critical systems, such as CISA’s CyberScope and CyberSentry programs, enabling these systems and networks to maintain their Authority to Operate (ATO) and to connect to other systems.
Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)
The DoD’s Chief Information Officer (CIO) has publicly announced that “the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) is the target of more frequent and complex cyberattacks.” DoD has created the CMMC program to help DIB partners to protect protection of sensitive unclassified information that is shared by the Department with its contractors and subcontractors.
As the CMMC program continues to evolve, BST utilizes our cybersecurity analytical and engineering skills to assist multiple commercial clients to achieve compliance with the mandatory certification requirements of CMMC, enabling them to protect Federal Contract Information (FCI) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in accordance with DoD security requirements.
More than 20 years’ experience in security architecture, engineering, assessment, and continuous monitoring:
BST’s current capabilities have been honed by long service to clients in the Department of Defense and IC, as well as the civilian Federal government. BST’s staff has compiled a record of successfully engineering and sustaining systems and network solutions, including:
Security architecture and engineering for a classified cloud environment and cross-domain intelligence information systems (US Army Intelligence and Security Command)
Security engineering, assessment and authorization support for enterprise messaging systems and infrastructure (Central Intelligence Agency, National Reconnaissance Office, and the Defense Information Systems Agency)
